UPDATE: This ramp closure was originally planned to take place Sunday, February 27, has been rescheduled until after Bike Week and Volusia County’s Spring Break.
As a community partner, The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) wants you to be aware of two upcoming nighttime ramp closures at the interchange of Interstate 95 (I-95) and State Road (S.R.) 40 (Granada Boulevard) in Ormond Beach, Volusia County. The ramps will be closed for roadway work as part of a larger project to resurface I-95 from Dunn Avenue to Airport Road (Project: 441133-1).
The I-95 southbound off-ramp onto State Road 40 (Granada Blvd) at Exit 268 in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, will be closed tonight, February 24, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:
- Motorists traveling south on I-95 will be directed to take Exit 273 (Ormond Beach/Bunnell), turn left onto U.S. 1 (S.R. 5), and then turn right onto Nova Road to access S.R. 40 (Granada Blvd). Please see the first attached map for a visual of the detour route.
The entrance ramp onto I-95 northbound from S.R. 40 (Granada Blvd) in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, will be closed on Sunday, February 27, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:
- Motorists traveling eastbound on S.R. 40 (Granada Boulevard) will be directed to turn left onto Nova Road, then turn left again onto U.S. 1 (S.R. 5) to access the ramp to I-95 northbound.
- Motorists traveling westbound on S.R. 40 (Granada Boulevard) will be directed to turn right onto Nova Road, then turn left onto U.S. 1 (S.R. 5) to access the ramp to I-95 northbound.
