[ARCHIVED] Nighttime Ramp Closure - Interstate 95/ State Road 40

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) wants you to be aware of an upcoming nighttime ramp closure at the interchange of Interstate 95 (I-95) and State Road (S.R.) 40 (Granada Boulevard) in Ormond Beach, Volusia County. This closure will allow the ramp to be repaved as part of a larger FDOT I-95 resurfacing project (Project: 441133-1). The I-95 northbound off-ramp onto State Road 40 (Granada Blvd) at Exit 268 will be closed on Tuesday, January 25, and Wednesday, January 26, from 10:00 pm to 6:00am each night. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:

  • Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 will be directed to continue north to take Exit 273 (Ormond Beach/Bunnell), turn left onto U.S. 1 (S.R. 5), and then turn right onto Nova Road to access S.R. 40 (Granada Blvd). Please see the attached map for a visual of the detour route.

Please note that construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. For the most current details about this construction project, please visit the project page on FDOT’s Central Florida Roads website, www.cflroads.com.
