[ARCHIVED] Southbound I-95 on ramp from U.S. 1 to close nightly starting Monday, Sept. 28 - Wednesday, Sept. 30

The contractor on the I-95 resurfacing project in Ormond Beach is planning to close the southbound I-95 on-ramp from U.S. 1 for three nights starting Monday, Sept. 28, through Wednesday, Sept. 30.  

Each evening, the contractor will shut down the ramp around 7 p.m. to do guardrail installation and then reopen it the following morning at 7 a.m.  

Please see the detailed ramp closure and detour information below. 

The southbound I-95 on-ramp from U.S. 1 will be closed 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 through Wednesday, Sept. 30 for guardrail installation. The detours will be as follows: 

  •  Motorists on northbound U.S. 1 wishing to access southbound I-95, will need to make a U-turn at Destination Daytona Lane to southbound U.S. 1, turn right onto to Nova Rd. and turn right onto Granada Blvd. to southbound I-95.  
  • Motorists on southbound U.S. 1 wishing to access southbound I-95 will need to travel past I-95, turn right onto Nova Rd., and turn right onto Granada Blvd. to southbound I-95.
