ORMOND BEACH - March 26, 2020 The City of Ormond Beach is excited to launch a community initiative asking residents to post hearts on their front doors or windows to show a small sign of our community’s overwhelming gratitude for those who are working on the front lines.

“There are so many members of the Ormond Beach community who have really stepped up to support their friends, neighbors, and even strangers,” said Ormond Beach Mayor Bill Partington. “We hope that this initiative will brighten the day of those working so hard to keep us safe and healthy and let them know how much we appreciate them.”

We want Ormond Beach to showcase their appreciation to our first-responders and healthcare workers and anyone else who has been your hero during this difficult time. Create a heart with your supportive messages for someone who may be driving home from a very long shift and just needs that little boost of love from their community.

We hope that businesses and residents alike will post these hearts all over town and feature them on social media using the hashtag #HeartsForHeroes. We also have a virtual option available on our Facebook page where you can add a picture frame to your profile picture and show your support online.
