The City of Ormond Beach is proud to announce that Mayor Partington and the City Commission were named top ten finalists for Route Fifty’s Navigator Awards in the category of The Electeds for their citizen engagement series, The OB Life.
Route Fifty’s Navigator Award honors individuals and teams who either work for or with state, county, and municipal governments in the United States. Finalists were chosen for their demonstrated abilities to implement an innovative idea that improves public sector services and the communities they serve.
“We are honored to have been recognized for this prestigious award,” said Mayor Bill Partingon. “As a city government, we understand the value of listening to and engaging residents to help make our city a great place to live and work. We used the OB Life to shape the way that Ormond Beach will continue to communicate with our residents – with transparency and with goals that are formed by the voice of our people.”
Winners will be announced in a ceremony on November 20 in San Antonio, Texas during the National League of Cities’ annual City Summit.
