[ARCHIVED] Ormond Beach Follies Present "What the World Needs Now" March 29-31

The Ormond Beach Follies is excited to announce that this year’s show, “What the World Needs Now,” will be performed on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, March 31, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 N US 1.

The Follies cast features 50 residents ranging in age from 11-94 years young! These dedicated performers, hailing from the greater Daytona and Ormond communities, as well as Flagler, Palm Coast and DeLand are eager to share this fast paced, high energy variety show as they have for over 20 years!

Featuring many of the songs we all loved from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, this year’s show explores many ways the world could be a better place to live.  In addition to love, friendship and kindness, the Follies take a look at hope, peace, humor, tolerance, faith and respect as possible remedies for what ails us all.

Come enjoy an evening, or afternoon, of good music, dancing and laughter as the Follies poke fun at themselves and the world in which we live.  You’ll be glad you did!

Reserved tickets for the show are $15 and are available online at the City of Ormond Beach website and at the Performing Arts Center Box Office located at 399 N. US Hwy 1.  The Box Office is open Tuesday through Friday from Noon until 5:00 p.m., and two hours prior to every show.  Tickets can also be ordered over the telephone by calling the Box Office at 386-676-3375.  Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
