Enviro Camp at the Environmental Discovery Center is just a few months away and the City of Ormond Beach is offering another exciting opportunity this year for campers! A scholarship for one free session of Enviro Camp will be given in memory of City Commissioner and Ambassador Joyce Ebbets, to lucky winners of an essay contest.

Children ages seven (7) to ten (10) can participate by writing and submitting an essay on the topic: “Why the Environment is Important to Me.” Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 22, and may be mailed to: The Casements, 25 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach, FL 32176, Attn: Siobhan Daly; or sent via email in PDF or WORD document format only to: Siobhan.Daly@ormondbeach.org. Winners will be chosen by an independent group of volunteers by March 29.
