On Thursday,
December 6, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., the Florida Public Archaeology
Network will hold a workshop on pottery at the Environmental Discovery Center,
located at 601 Division Avenue.
You will learn
about Florida’s 4,000 years of prehistoric ceramics and learn how
archaeologists use pottery to study people of the past. At this hands-on
session, you will create and decorate your own ceramic pot!
The workshop
is free, but space is limited. Call the Environmental Discovery Center at
386-615-7081 to reserve your spot.
