[ARCHIVED] Seniors Got Talent, FINALS, November 4, 2:00 PM

The Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 North U.S. Highway 1, will host the fabulous final event of Seniors Got Talent on Sunday, November 4, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  After over 60 auditions and 20 in the preliminaries this past Sunday, the top 10 have been selected.  The judges included Ormond Beach Deputy Mayor/City Commissioner Troy Kent, Flagler County Commissioner Nate McLaughlin, Executive Director of Market Street in Palm Coast Andrew Gall, and Governor of the Florida District of Kiwanis Todd Smith.  The finals will have a surprise judge, Volusia County Sheriff Michael Chitwood.

The goal is to raise $20,000 for the Long-Term Care Scholarship benefiting a local senior on the Medicaid Waitlist and $10,000 for the local Alzheimer’s Walks in Volusia and Flagler County.  This exciting event will include singers, comedians and much more.  Those in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in raffles and a live auction of a luxury Costa Rican Vacation Home for a week.

Tickets are $8.00 general admission and can be purchased at the door or online at www.ormondbeach.org. For more information, photos, interviews and videos from the preliminaries held on October 28, please contact Bridget Poundsberry.
