Interested in science? Love our coastal ecosystems? The City of Ormond Beach, Bethune-Cookman University, and Stetson University will present the Coastal Science Research Workshop at the Environmental Discovery Center, 601 Division Avenue, on Saturday, October 27, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This free community event features hands-on labs and stations with local scientists and specialists.
With your help, professors from Bethune-Cookman University and Stetson University will conduct research on water quality, plankton, native plants, sediment cores, and microplastics. You can participate in science research firsthand and learn more about Florida’s environment.
