Aloha!
Your friends at the Ormond Beach Police Department are excited to announce that this
year’s National Night Out will be presented on August 7th between 5pm-8pm at Nova Community Center, 440 North Nova Road. Everyone is invited to this year’s “Hawaiian Luau.” There will be entertainment for people of all ages at this popular community event.
This FREE event will feature
Hawaiian hula dancers, a warrior fire show, and Hawaiian band courtesy of
Polynesian Fire. There will also be a photo booth, rock wall, martial art demos,
face painting, bouncy houses, your favorite radio stations music, helmet
fittings and so much more! OBPD’s Corporal Brennan and Officer Durkin will be
joined by 103.3 The VIBE’s DJ Tremble and Kaylee as your event hosts.
OBPD’s 10Alpha1, PAW Patrol, and
Chick-fil-A COW are all ready to spread some cheer. Vendors from several local
companies will be there while we give away some spectacular prizes from our
popular raffle. Local favorites like Schmancy Pops, Leaf Coffee and Krispy
Kreme will be serving up some delicious snacks. Chief Godfrey, Captain
Rosenthal and Captain Roos will be on the grill serving up some delicious
grilled food courtesy of Walmart. This is the perfect way to end the summer!
Annually over 15,000 communities across the United States join forces and celebrate National Night Out. A Nationwide attendance of over 37 million people from all 50 States, U.S. Territories, Canadian Cities, and our Military Bases worldwide will come together in an effort to promote a Community and Police Partnership. National
Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while
bringing back a true sense of community. It furthermore provides an opportunity
to bring police and neighbors together.
