This year, Saturday, April 22, marks the
forty-eighth anniversary of the first Earth Day. On Thursday, April 19,
the City of Ormond Beach will
be holding its 26th annual Picnic on the Plaza at City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in celebration of Earth Day. More than one billion people in 190 countries celebrate Earth Day.

Pros is offering FREE shredding services in front of City Hall near the flag pole. In order to serve everyone who wants to take advantage of this service, each person can bring up to 5 letter size bankers boxes or up to 3 legal bankers boxes. Also, please do not bring any metal items, metal hanging files, three ring binders, hard drives or batteries. No garbage including plastic items. Staples and paper clips are fine.
