On Saturday, December 9th, 2017, The City of Ormond Beach will be hosting its annual Home for the Holidays Parade. South Beach Street to Tomoka Avenue will be closed to through traffic at 5:00 p.m. Cassen Park will remain open until the start of the parade. Northbound traffic on South Yonge Street will be diverted west on Hand Avenue towards Nova Road and West Granada Boulevard (east from S. Yonge Street) will be changed from four lane roadways to two lanes at 6:00 PM. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30PM.
Motorists not attending the parade are encouraged to use Nova Road to go north during the parade.
The parade route will start at the South Yonge Street intersection of Division Avenue. The route will continue north on South Yonge Street to West Granada Boulevard, turn right, and proceed east on West Granada Boulevard to South Beach Street. The route will then turn right onto South Beach Street. Once the parade has passed, the judges stand at City Hall, the parade will disperse.
