On Friday, November 24th, 2017, The City of Ormond Beach will be hosting its annual Birthplace of Speed Gas Light Parade. Riverside Drive, from East Granada to Casement Drive, will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5:00 p.m. The parade is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
The parade route will start at East Granada Boulevard and Riverside Drive. The route will continue east on East Granada Boulevard to South Atlantic Avenue, turn right and proceed south on South Atlantic Avenue to Harvard Drive. Once at Harvard Drive, the parade will disperse. Expect delays on the Granada Bridge during the parade. Eastbound traffic will be temporarily stopped at the base of the bridge when the parade begins.
