The registration deadline for residents with damages or losses from
Hurricane Irma in VolusiaCounty has been extended to November 24,
2017.
Ifyour primary residence was damaged and you have insurance, call your insurance
company to file an insurance claim as FEMA will not duplicate assistance forlosses covered by insurance. You may
still be eligible for assistance from FEMA for damages not covered by yourinsurance.
Registering/applying
is your first step in getting disaster assistance. You can register/apply online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov,or by calling FEMA at 800-621-FEMA
(3362). Online registrations must becompleted by midnight on November 9, 2017. Applicants using 711 or Video Relay Service may also call800-621-3362. Applicants who are deaf,
hard of hearing or have a speech disability and a TTY, please call800-462-7585. Toll free phone lines are
open 7 AM – 11 PM seven days a week until further notice and multilingualoperators are available.
