[ARCHIVED] Storm Debris - Update 26, Final

Crowder Gulf, the City’s debris removal contractors, has completed debris removal in the City of Ormond Beach. On Wednesday, October 18, Waste Pro will resume the normal collection of yard debris.

As of the close of business on Monday, October 16, 2,869 loads of debris had been collected (131,968 cubic yards) in thirty-one days. Additionally, 20 leaning trees and 3,653 hanging limbs have been removed. Attached is a final cumulative map of debris collection. The first pass is indicated by red dots and the final pass by blue dots. Each dot does not represent a household, but rather an area where debris has been pushed into a pile and picked up.

Volusia County is responsible for debris removal on County roads within the City of Ormond Beach as well as that debris in unincorporated areas of Volusia County with Ormond Beach addresses. Please contact Volusia County Public Works at 386-736-5965 with any questions.
