[ARCHIVED] Volusia County Community Assistance Joins Disaster Recovery Center

Volusia County Community Assistance staff will be available at the Disaster
Recovery Center (DRC) located at the Florida Department of Health, 1845Holsonback Drive, Daytona Beach, through Wednesday, October 11, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to help people affected by Hurricane Irma.


Applications for financial assistance will be available to persons with low to moderate incomes for assistance with Hurricane Irma damages.  Funds are available for insurance deductibles, non-recoverable depreciation costs and home repairs for those not insured.  The maximum grant award is $20,000.  Applicants must have applied for assistance and been denied assistance by their insurance, FEMA or SBA to be eligible.  Applications are available at the DRC, online at www.volusia.org/services/community-services/community-assistance and at the County libraries.
