The City’s debris
removal contractor, Crowder Gulf, will begin storm debris removal on Saturday,
September 16, 2017.
Yard debris should be placed curbside for
pickup, but not in the roadways, not covering stormwater drains, and not
near fire hydrants. Yard debris should not be in bags and should be
separated from all other trash and construction materials. Crowder
Gulf will not pick up bagged debris. All construction debris must be
kept completely separate from yard debris and currently will be collected by Waste
Pro.
Placing debris in the roadways will impact
the storm cleanup and hinder emergency vehicle response. Please refrain
from removing fallen trees or limbs from roadways. If you find a tree or
limb that needs removal, please contact Central Dispatch at 386-248-1777.
Open burning
of commercial waste, residential trash, garbage, lawn debris,
clippings, trees or other debris on residential, commercial or industrial
property is prohibited within the City of Ormond Beach. (City of Ormond
Beach Code of Ordinances Section 9.2)
The City of Ormond
Beach appreciates your cooperation.
