[ARCHIVED] Shadow Crossing Force Main Improvements

Portions of the low pressure sewer system (LPSS) in Shadow Crossings are being replaced with 4-inch diameter piping to replace existing 2-inch lines. This work is being performed to reduce the operating pressure in the system, allowing existing septic tank effluent pumps (STEP) to operate more efficiently by increasing the pumping rate and reducing the run times. Customers should experience a reduction in alarm frequencies for their systems once work is completed. A map is attached that highlights the area where LPSS main replacement is to occur. Work is anticipated to begin on November 14, 2017, and be completed in January. A map of the area where construction will occur is attached for your information. Customers in the affected areas will be notified with door hangers.
