Mission Statement of the Ormond Beach Community Garden
“To create and maintain public gardens that promote a healthy lifestyle and for those who share a love and desire to learn more about gardening.”
About the Ormond Beach Community Garden Project
The creation of a community garden was identified as a number one priority by the Ormond Beach City Commission in 2013. The City of Ormond Beach Leisure Services Department worked with a dedicated team of volunteers to create both of the City's community gardens. The City of Ormond Beach first Community Garden is located on 601 Hammock Lane in Central Park Phase II and the second is located at 601 Fleming Avenue in Central Park Phase I.
