Sec 5-9 Sanitary Conditions
The owner or person in possession of animals shall keep yards and enclosures where animals are confined in such a manner so not to give off odors.
Owner of every animal shall be responsible for the removal of excreta deposited by their animal on public walks, recreation areas or private property.
Sec. 5-10 Animals constituting a nuisance
Frequent barking, howling, or making noise.
Frequent or repeated barking of at least thirty (30) seconds in a ten (10) minute period any time of day.
Frequent digging into or breaking shrubbery, trees, lawns, on public or private property not belonging to the owner or custodian of the animal.
Sec. 5-13 Feeding of feral or strays prohibited
It shall be unlawful for any person to feed feral or stray animals within the city, except feeders of feral cat colonies that have been approved by the police chief.
Sec. 5-60 License
All dogs & cats shall be licensed. ($5.00 per animal)
Sec. 5-59 Running at large prohibited
No owner of any dog or cat shall permit such animals to run at large at any time licensed or not.
