The Fire Department is comprised of two divisions - Administration and Operations.
The Ormond Beach Fire Department is under the command of Interim Fire Chief David King. The support staff consists of a Deputy Fire Chief and an Office Manager. Fire Administration provides managerial support, leadership, and administrative functions critical to the Fire Department's mission in the community.
This Division consists of 45 firefighters and three battalion commanders who are housed in four strategically located fire stations. Personnel are cross-trained as firefighter / paramedics or firefighter / EMT's. Staffing is divided into three shifts: A, B, and C. Each 24-hour shift is under the command of a battalion commander.
