For
more than 120 years, Ormond Beach has attracted people from around
the world who have marveled at the natural beauty of our wide
beaches, our tree-lined neighborhoods and our pristine rivers.
As
the City Manager, a big part of my job is to enhance the
reputation Ormond Beach has earned as a quality community, an
ideal place to raise a family and grow a business. Our city
employees pride themselves on providing friendly, first-rate
customer service and emergency response.
Ormond
Beach has a good mix of families and active retirees who were
attracted here by our wonderful neighborhoods, parks and sports
programs.
In
fact, in 2002 our Leisure Services Department was honored as one
of the top four parks and recreation programs in the nation by the
National Recreation and Park Association. We were also recently
named one of the “100 Best Places to Retire” by Where to
Retire Magazine.
Thanks
to the high standards of our residents over the years, Ormond
Beach has preserved the qualities that have made us one of the
most unique and charming cities in the nation.
