The Development Review Board (DRB) acts as an advisory board to the City Commission regarding conformity of specific proposed developments to the principles and requirements of the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Development Code. This Board makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding all applications for conditional use permits, planned developments, and subdivision plats, as well as other duties that may be assigned by the City Commission. The Board reviews proposed developments based on criteria in the Land Development Code. These criteria are designed to compare the impacts of the proposal on the environment, public facilities, and adjoining developments against the levels established within the City of Ormond Beach Comprehensive Plan. There are seven members of the Development Review Board appointed by the City Commission, two of which are appointed by at large.
Note: All minutes are subject to revision when submitted to the Board or Committee for their approval. When this is the case, the document will be updated. If you have any questions, please contact the Board Liaison or Secretary. |
