Lori Gillooly, City Commissioner in Zone 1, was elected to the City Commission in November 2005, and started her first term in January 2006.
Commissioner Gillooly is the Executive Director of Halifax Habitat for Humanity since 2001 and a former restaurant owner. She first moved to Ormond Beach in 1991 with her husband, Frank, who served a two-year term on the City Commission in the late 1990s. They founded the Pickwick’s Restaurant and Tea Room in The Trails Shopping Center, and operated it for four years.
Commissioner Gillooly also has served as director of Ormond Main Street, and has held management positions in long-term health care. She has a master’s degree in communication arts and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from William Patterson University in Wayne, N.J. |
